As the term progressed, the technical difficulty of each week's assignment increased. Below is one of the assignments, where we drew a real life hand-held product of our choice. I picked an electric toothbrush.
For mid-term, we had to modify the product drawing, adding surfaces and making the object float in space.
The next assignment after mid-term. We got to draw airplanes, which was really fun.
Our final assignment. We had to design and draw a treaded vehicle, or as they call it, the dreaded treaded vehicle. We started off with creating a storyline for our vehicle as well as the type of terrain and time period. Next was some research to get the visual language and type of treads accurate.
From our research, we created conceptualized thumbnails for our final design.
